My name is Viktorija but you can call me Vik.

Originally from Latvia but now Berlin based artist who accidentally has found a surrounding which had helped to discover and embrace parts of myself which previously were quite restrained.

Some time of my life I was doubting certain passions I had. Especially when it came to self expression.

Last couple of years the diversity of the city has helped me to be more brave and follow the paths I wanted to. Connecting with like minded people – people who can listen, understand, support and believe in me was the biggest push to restart to paint again.

More specifically – to do it in a way that I want while not being ashamed. So I started to experiment and play with watercolour and different kind of tools that I could find lying around the house during pandemic.

Oh, was that was a journey! I will tell you more details some other time if you will. But it was (and still is!) so crazy to erase the borders that I always had!

So now I can say. I’m an artist. I paint. I create abstract watercolor and mixed technique paintings.

Still trying to concentrate finding my way and not think about what others may not understand.

Its a process. And I guess the dream is to be appreciated for the stuff I do. And one day for someone to buy my stuff, hang it on their wall and be very proud and happy about their new art piece they now have.

A piece of my soul if you will. <3
