Working on the Beach

Sounds like a dream, doesn’t it?! Spoiler alert : it wasn’t quite as relaxing as you would like to imagine.😅
So we went on a family trip to Canary islands, Fuerteventura to be precise back in September. Obviously I wasted to be a badass productive creature there. I took some sheets paper, couple of brushes and colors with me.

Finally the day of me prioritizing commitment over relaxing came (you cant really relax with a crazy active 4 year old) and let me tell you – trying to paint on a sunny, windy beach is not the best or more practical idea! 😆

See this stone? He was not the only one helping me out to hold those sheets of paper. I also didn’t think through the part of carrying those wet sheets back to the hotel room! 🤣 Needed to text my husband and ask for help. And you know what happened? The wind was so strong that it grabbed those poor sheets out of his hands and flied them away! Why not?

It was SO windy that sand also took a part in creation of these layers! I mean – great! Now they are indeed super unique and special if you would like to purchase the original. They carry the story AND contain sand! From Canary islands 😎 Fancy!

I need to find them actually! Some of them are nearly finished and ready to be framed. I hope you’ll like the results.

Can you relate to this or similar kind of creating while being outdoors? Let me know!

Meanwhile: stay tuned for more stories and behind the scenes experiences in some of my next posts. 😊
