This was one of those hopeless cases. You know – the one which lies there in the pile of unfinished work and just waits. But the only thing you can do seeing it: sigh, “What shall I do with YOU?!” Ugh.

That was the time when I first started to experiment with abstract aquarelle. When I tried to take off the control of my hand and be more spontaneous and brave with strokes and splashes. That was also the time I needed to learn how to be patient while the first layer dries.
Fast forward 2! yes 2 years and I finally took the piece of paper and spontaneously started float the colors. Not add but rather decrease the volume and intensity. Once. Twice.Wow! This actually looks like something I could frame sometime soon! 😀 Gosh! But wait.. I guess I could try to add a bit of a shimmer. Copper flakes, yes!

Can you believe its the same piece? 😀 Even I have trouble realizing that but indeed it is! The color palette and mood overall has changed so much I think.
The amount of joy and drive and all together inspiration from the creation this piece was huge! And once again I need to acknowledge and remind myself that creativity and best results come from playfulness and having fun with what I love to do most – listening to upbeat music and making art. <3
